Lil Za & Justin Bieber – Club Drugs Arrests & Vandalism

Los Angeles, California

Lil Za was arrested on two counts of felony drug possession when police found Ecstasy and Oxycodone near him during their raid at Justin Bieber’s house in January of this year.

According to TMZ, Za appeared in court yesterday to answer to the charges.

Lil Za has been ordered to do 20 hours of Caltrans labor,  picking up trash and will complete a drug rehabilitation program.

Bieber’s Vandalism

Bieber’s neighbor claimed that Bieber hit his house with no less than 20 eggs. Though the initial police report described the incident as a misdemeanor, the neighbor has claimed damage in excess of $20,000, which could bump the incident up to a felony

Club Drugs – GHB & Ecstasy

GHB is a common illicit drug that is used in the club scene.  GHB is a colorless, odorless drug that comes in both liquid and powder form that is usually ingested orally. GHB (Gamma Hydroxybutyric Acid), is a central nervous system depressant that can produce euphoric and sedating effects.

Common Street Names for GHB

Common street names for the drug include Liquid Ecstasy, Liquid X, Liquid G, Georgia Home Boy, Goop, Grievous Bodily Harm, Fantasy and Easy Lay.  While some users report taking the drug for its anabolic effects, meaning it may promote muscle building and fat reduction, most enjoy GHB for its intoxicating effects, which are similar to those of alcohol or other CNS depressants like Xanax or Valium.

Depending on the amount ingested, GHB can cause relaxation, euphoria and increased sex drive. In larger doses, it may cause sweating, nausea, hallucinations, amnesia, confusion, clumsiness and loss of consciousness. This drug has also been referred to as the date rape drug as it removes inhibitions.

Signs of GHB Abuse

Common signs of GHB abuse are initially similar to alcohol and include increased energy, giddiness, talkativeness, uninhibited behavior, difficulty concentrating, rambling, loss of coordination, nausea and headaches.

Signs of heavy use or overdose include slurred or incoherent speech, extreme fatigue/desire to sleep, passing out, unconsciousness, vomiting, shallow breathing, slow heart rate, hallucinations, seizures and coma.

Ecstasy

MDMA has become widely known as “ecstasy” (shortened to “E”, “X”, or “XTC”). MDMA is an empathogenic drug of the phenethylamine and amphetamine classes of drugs.

Purity of Ecstasy

Another concern associated with MDMA use is toxicity from chemicals other than MDMA in ecstasy tablets. Due to its near-universal illegality, the purity of a substance sold as ecstasy is unknown to the typical user.

What’s In X Pills?

The MDMA content of tablets varies widely between regions and different brands of pills and fluctuates somewhat each year.  X Pills may contain other active substances meant to stimulate in a way similar to MDMA, such as amphetamine, mephedrone, methamphetamine, ephedrine, caffeine, all of which may be comparatively cheap to produce and can help to boost overall profits.

In some cases, tablets sold as Ecstasy do not even contain any MDMA.  Pills may include a variety of non-psychoactive substances as well, such as paracetamol, ibuprofen, talcum powder, etc.

Club drugs are dangerous and the abuse of these illicit substances can result in arrest, bodily harm and/or fatality. If you or someone you know if struggling with abuse of these substances, please contact Balboa Horizons today. 1 (866) 316-4012.
